tips you can trust
The three
specialty restaurants
Le Champagne
Seishn
Stars Supper Club
Each is small, intimate and softly lit. Le Champagne and Seishin have an exclusive air - each accommodates only about two dozen guests.
Le Champagne
It's one of the finest and most stylish restaurants on the high seas. The chef prepares regional and seasonal a la carte specialties. There's a $30 cover charge, which does not include spirits and specialty wines (though you can order gratis the ship's daily house wines). A sommelier gives expert wine-pairing advice.
Seishin
This cozy, well-appointed restaurant serves Asian fusion cuisine: Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian specialties. The $30 cover charge does not include spirits. sake, and special wines. They must be purchased, though you can order the ship's daily house wines without charge. Reservations are required for dinner, but not for lunch, which is served only on sea days.
Stars Supper Club
Stars is a hybrid restaurant and entertainment lounge designed in a plush 1930s-era supper club motif. A jazzy cabaret singer is accompanied by a pianist. There's no cover charge and you enjoy a five course meal. Each comprises a trio of tapas-like preparations attractively served individually in small bowls. That makes 15 culinary treats. If you're still hungry, there's a pasta dish on request.
