Pribram Mining Museum
The Pribram mine dates back at least to 1216. Old buildings have been preserved and contain several dozen educational exhibits showcasing mining machinery, tools and clothing of the past. The museum documents successes and tragedies, including the mass death catastrophe of 1892
Cinema directors have discovered that the main square of the small hilltop town of Telc is a charming background for filming a movie. The triangular square is rimmed with preserved sixteenth century stone Renaissance burgher houses sporting eye-catching arcades (see photo). Telc also boasts an interesting chateaux castle.
