Cruise tips you can trust
You will find the following
on the typical luxury ship
Dinner
The venue becomes a full-service restaurant with both a la carte and tasting menus. It offers a changing variety of international specialties.
Windows
The dining room has large, wraparound windows to capture the changing views.
Breakfast & lunch
It's buffet (though menu service is available).
Personality
It is smaller and more casual than the Main Dining Room - and offers a lighter fare. It's the most popular venue for breakfast and lunch buffets (menu service is available on request). At night, it transforms itself into a (usually Italian) restaurant.
Pool snack bar
Serves light fare like sandwiches and salads. Great when you come back from a morning excursion.
Room service
It's available 24 hours a day.
Pool deck barbeque
The culinary staff holds a themed poolside barbecue. The seafood barbecue (featuring lobster tails) was the guest favorite during my voyage.
